KAWTHAUNG
Formerly called Victoria Point, Kawthaung is the southern-most town of
Myanmar. From Ranong, a border town in Thailand, visitors can take 20
minute boat trips to Kawthaung for sightseeing and shopping. Andaman

The Andaman Club Resort Hotel is situated on Thahtaykyun Island in
Kawthaung on the other side of the Thahtaykyun, Ranong Town of
Thailand is located. You can travel from Yangon to Kawthaung by plane
or by ship. It will be more comfortable to fly by plane . At present
flights are available from Myanmar Airways and Air Bagan. On arriving
Kawthaung Airport, you will proceed to Kawthaung jetty by bus. The
distance is 7.5 miles from the Airport. After arriving to the jetty
you will proceed to Andaman Resort Hotel with speed boat within 15
minutes.
